Since starting Xpress Urself I have become a lot more confident, I really enjoy it. Xpress Urself offers us a lot of freedom in what material we work on in our lessons, everyone is treat equal and as individuals and we get a great amount of input.
Jess has tried other stage schools in the past but has never enjoyed them as much as Xpress Urself. Jess is a confident individual and thrives off the performance opportunities that Xpress Urself offers her.
When I first joined Xpress Urself I was really scared to sing in front of people but now I am a lot more confident. Xpress Urself never makes you feel forced or pressured into anything you are under-confident with, but they will work with you as an individual to bring all of your potential.
Xpress Urself has really brought out my confidence. I enjoy going here because we are all treat as individuals, we are encouraged to do our best and always spur us on to go that extra mile.
My daughter really enjoys Xpress Urself, she has taken part in other stage schools but hasn’t enjoyed it as much as this one. Xpress Urself has a lovely friendly atmosphere, I have witnessed my daughters confidence grow dramatically since joining and would defiantly recommend Xpress Urself.
Xpress Urself aims to provide young people with a unique opportunity to get involved with the creative arts in a professional and safe environment. We aim to improve not only in confidence and self esteem but to give young people relevant experience in stage craft and above all to have fun.
Xpress Urself was founded by Aaron Phillips, in June 2011 with the vision of giving young people an accessible opportunity in the arts.
“Performing arts isn’t accessible to everybody so I’ve set up something everybody can get involved with at a very competitive price. I never thought Xpress Urself would be this successful but it has really flourished within the past year and I have massive plans for its future.
We work hard with our students always making them reach their full potential, all of our lessons are taught in a relaxed environment but enforced with a disciplined attitude.
